This feature is complex because there are lots of slightly different use-cases that require different interactions (also "duplicate" a flexible term). We decided to put it on ice until further notice.
While I did vote for this, I just want to add that I'd much prefer some other integrations first 🙂 There's already a million apps that handle finding duplicate files. This is an "icing on the cake" feature for me.
