Please add a site panel for previewing content of files like .doc, .txt, images, mail body
The last viewed panel on the right side is too big and not always needed. A toggle would be OK for that

Would it be possible to add preview of MS Office docs, most importantly docx, in the same way as pdf files..i.e. opening an app preview window first before launching the external app? Thanks

Please show a preview of attached files in mails like .doc, .xls, .png, .jpg etc.
For better visualization, it would be good to indent the attachments a bit.
Currently, the attached file looks like mails in the result view.

Interesting ideas! I think there are two things here
(a) option to show thumbnails (or not) for files
(b) show attachments as belonging to emails, rather than simply as files at the same level

a.) that would be fine for the result view, but I meant more the right preview pane for the file content:
For example, when I select that .xlsx file in the result view, I can´t see the content of the xlsx in the right preview pane.
I have only the option to download it.
This is for any attachment file type.
I dont know if it´s a bug or not. Some are shown in the result view and in the preview pane, but many are not.
A thumbnail preview of the results is nice, but it would be better to make that optional and also reduce the dimension. It's often too high and waste space.
